ThreadLift™ - a Non Surgical Face Lift

The ThreadLift™ (also know as the FeatherLift™ or Aptos™ suture lift) is a non-surgical facelift procedure and part of a popular rejuvenation program in our office. ThreadLift™ candidates include individuals who experience aging signs with respect to their face, as well as laxity and droopiness of the skin around their brows, cheeks, jowls and/or neck.

The ThreadLift™ Procedure Description:

The ThreadLift™ is a noninvasive office procedure performed under local anesthetic that is designed to elevate, reposition and lift lax skin of the brow, face, and neck without surgery. Dr. Sigler incorporates the ThreadLift™ into the exclusive non-surgical facelift program. The ThreadLift™ employs new non-surgical threads and sutures to restore youthful vitality to the face.

The ThreadLift™ works by having tiny threads inserted painlessly under the skin of the droopy portions of the brow, cheek, jowl or neck. These fine threads are the same sutures Dr. Sigler uses to support the deep structures of the face during a real, surgical lift. Using local freezing, the threads (called Aptos sutures) are passed into the droopy facial element with a special Guide needle. These threads are able to grab on to the droopy soft-tissue of the brow, cheek, jowl and neck. The ThreadLift™ is done without a knife, scars, or significant recovery. Most patients experience minimal bruising or swelling. The ThreadLift™ is not painful and most patients can return to normal activities with makeup the next day. The threads stay where they are inserted and, like all internal sutures, are generally well tolerated by the body.

The ThreadLift™ shows immediate lift effects of the brow, cheeks and neck. Well over 90% of the ThreadLift™ patients report satisfying lift results. The ThreadLift™ lasts several years and can be repeated.

Many ThreadLift™ patients combine the skin and droopy fat-skin tightening effects of the ThreadLift™ with other products and procedures to improve the skin quality, color, tone, pore and fine line improvement.

The threads used in the ThreadLift™ are very safe and are the same suture material used in open, surgical facelifts.
